My background and experience

I                Frank J. Pyle

    Lifetime resident of Orlando, attending Delaney Elementary and Cherokee Junior High. After graduating from Boone High School, I attended Davidson College in North Carolina, then transferring to and graduating from Stetson University.  After three years of study at the University of Florida School Of Law, I received my law degree (Juris Doctor). 

    I successfully completed the Florida Bar Exam a few months later, and began my legal career as an officer in the legal branch of the United States Army - the JAG Corps.  I served on active duty over nine years in various assignments of increasing responsibility, including chief lawyer for the Presidio of San Francisco, and overseas in Germany.  Upon my release from active duty, I served in the U. S. Army Reserves for twenty years, including many tours at various Army posts, and overseas in Equador and Germany, retiring as a Colonel.

    Upon release from active duty I worked for the Orange County Legal Aid Society until admission to the University Of Miami School of Law Masters Program in the area of Estate Planning.  Upon my graduation with the Masters Degree (LL.M, Estate Planning), I returned to Orlando, since when I have maintained   a private law practice.

    A frequent speaker on Estate Planning, Wills, and Probate before various groups, including Disney World, AARP, City of Orlando, Orange County, Orlando Utilities Commission, Federal retirees, and other civic and church groups, I have also taught at state-wide continuing legal educations seminars for Florida attorneys on Estate Planning, Real Estate Tax Planning, and Drafting Wills And Trusts.  

    I have taught Estate Planning, Business Law, Business Organizations, and Trusts at various local schools, including Rollins College and Valencia Community College.

    * Received and continue to maintain the highest peer rating ("AV Preeminent") from Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory for legal ability and ethical standards.
